ACAMS to support prestigious Red Sea development in Saudi Arabia!
ACAMS will supply a packaged system of ATIS and TCMS to be installed in the new Red Sea International Airport in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
ACAMS has won a contract to supply ATIS and TCMS systems to the new Red Sea International Airport. The airport is an integrated part of The Red Sea Project, which is an ambitious development project aiming to develop the regions potential for luxury- and ecotourism.
The new airport has been designed to reach a capacity of one million passengers a year by 2030. It will almost exclusively serve tourists visiting The Red Sea Project tourist development. The end user is Saudi Air Navigation Services Company (SANS), which is very familiar to ACAMS solutions after many previous ACAMS-installations within the Kingdom.
The ACAMS delivery includes:
Technical Control & Management System (TCMS), with interfaces to:
- VCCS (Voice Communication Control System)
- Radio System
- ATIS
- GPS Master Clock
- Recorder system
Operator positions for monitoring the systems status for all connected systems will be located both locally and at Jeddah HQ Maintenance Centre.

- ASOS (METAR/SPECI)
- VHF Transmitter
- SITA (CATS)
- ATM system
